Screenshottery

I made some initial attempts at a map generator today, messing around on a quiet saturday. Although the rendering's not been touched at all, I did add the facility to load a .txt file to the Hello Scala app and a quick radius cull.

And so, because there hasn't been a screenshot for too long:



Nothing else to report, really. If I got off my arse and implemented basic text rendering, I could put in the console and rip out my input hacks. But there are so many other, more interesting things to do...

I could add some monsters to kill. That would be fun.

Fantastic!

And almost certainly a great intermediate step before the long, hard slog of making suitable models...

Shame the jelly pit picture appears to be broken. The rest are great though.
